Frazzled, stuck, frustrated and confused.
Is that how you feel?
You’re not progressing at work, and you don’t know why.
You’re spinning too many plates.
You’re considering changing jobs, or possibly even careers, but the job market has changed so much, you don’t know where to start.
Your thoughts are all tangled. You don’t know how to manage your limited time and competing priorities.
And then there are those negative voices telling you you’re not good enough to go for the career you once thought you were destined for.
You really need to talk to someone, but your friends and family don’t understand what you do for a living. You don’t want to burden your overworked colleagues. And your boss isn’t listening.
You need an empathetic companion, who will encourage you, gently challenge you and hold you accountable (so you don’t make the old excuses which have held you back before).
You want to talk to someone who is impartial, and who understands what you’re going through because they’ve been there.
And it would be a bonus for that person to be an expert in careers and communications so you can get practical help.
Hello! I’m Vicki 👋
I’ve been in the communications industry one way or another, for over 30 years. I’ve been a PR consultant, dealing with stressed journalists and demanding clients, while being bullied by my boss. I’ve been a candidate, who has gone through the cycle of excitement, research, interviews, hope and then…. Tumbleweed.
I’ve been a recruiter, specialising in communications – seeing that application cycle from the other side. I started a completely new career at the age of 48. Because I wasn’t too old and it isn’t too late.
Let’s work out together how you unravel those knotty problems at work to get the best possible outcome. Or I will support you to be the most attractive candidate for your dream job, help you take a new path, change careers, go freelance or start your own business.
I know financially times are tough, and coaching seems like a luxury. But what is it costing you to stay where you are?
If you don’t like where you are, move. You are not a tree 🌳
You don’t need to try to figure this out on your own.

Coaching is not a quick fix, but it can be transformative. Don’t just take my word for it. This is what some of my clients say about their experience:
“There was only ever one person I was going to ask for coaching when I’d unexpectedly found myself unemployed after having to leave my dream job, my confidence in tatters. I can honestly say that coaching with Vicki has not only given me back my confidence but infused me with a renewed sense of optimism and purpose. For picking me up off the metaphorical career floor, for giving me back my mojo, for making me laugh and always challenging me to be my best self – I can’t thank Vicki enough or recommend her more highly.”
Louisa, Storyteller and Writer
“I consider meeting Vicki a stroke of enormous luck. She came into my life when I was at a crossroads in my career and feeling confused about where I should go next. Working with her made a huge difference to my confidence and resulted in no fewer than three job offers. I’d highly recommend working with Vicki if you’re looking for a coach who really listens to your needs and helps support you every step of the way to achieve the outcome you desire.”
Polly, Audio Production Manager
“There’s a saying that people come into your life for a reason, a season, or a lifetime. Vicki ticks all of these boxes for me. So, whichever season of life or career you are in, I would not hesitate in recommending Vicki to help you on your journey.”
